New Home completed in Buckland, Pukekohe

This new house boasts four generous bedrooms, a scullery and large living areas that flow out onto a large, covered deck – a perfect property for the family to enjoy the indoor/outdoor flow with friends and family.

Aztec Builders is excited to announce that we are making a renewed long-term commitment to new residential builds in the greater Auckland area.

We've broken ground at a site in Buckland, Pukekohe (pictured below) - the first of a number sites which Aztec have secured for building new homes upon in 2016.

This architectural build was all about fitting in with the native bush and surrounding hill of Mellons Bay to create a split level house with basement garage suitable for the whole family.

Aztec Builders began the project with digging out a full basement underneath this house in Ponsonby. We then completely refurbished the inside of the house, followed by repainting of the exterior.

This was a full scale home makeover, which involved a complete 'gutting' and refit of the home's exterior, a large two-storey extension, footpaths, driveway and a complete redecoration of the interior and exterior. We completed the total package, with landscaping by Aztec Builders included.

Maraetai Beach Boat Club revamp

Aztec Builders were contracted to revamp the existing Maraetai Beach Boat Club premises with a new outdoor entertainment area, and a general refurbishment to give the Boat Club a new stylish look in keeping with the beautiful coastal location.

Aztec Builders converted this retail space from Gull to Woolworths, along with 14 other locations around the country. We then reconverted this one to Super Value under tight time lines and working with the shop operating earlier in 2011.

Aztec Builders was proud to be involved in this stairwell access extension and fit out of the first floor - including kitchen, toilets, meeting rooms and offices for TriStar Gymnasium in Mt Roskill completed July 2015. The official opening was held on Tuesday April 5 2016, acknowledging all parties involved in the completion of the project. Our Managing Director, Shayne, was among those in attendance.

Aztec Builders was involved with the renovation of several floors of the historic Queen Street, landmark building, The Imperial 44, Queen Street, Auckland.

A newly completed shop refurbishment at Gucci, Queen Street, Auckland CBD was completed in fifty six hours as agreed prior to start. We would like to thank the Gucci staff and Architect for their assistance.

May Road Oral Health Clinic was officially opened by the Right honourable Phil Gough - Aztec Builders completed this project on time and within budget.

Below are photos of the Orakei Dental unit just before handover.

Last week we observe a few external changes like the roof tiles being removed with sections of the roof. The next stage of the demolition involved the removal of all the roof tiles and the builders taking down the rest of the roof structure. All that was left was the walls of the old toilet block. The next exciting stage involved the demolition crew removing the interior of the toilet block. After they had removed the internal structure the demolition crew used a huge digger to tear down the walls and all that was left was a huge pile of broken wood concrete and steel.
The demolition crew have finished their part of the job and they have cleared away the last bits of rubbish and wood from our old toilet block. The old toilet block has gone and it is like an empty field without any grass. It is the end of the old and the start of a new beginning for our school and community. The next step in our building process will be a traditional ceremony where a ‘mauri stone’ will be buried beneath foundations of the new building. This ceremony will take place on Wednesday 4th April at 8.30am.
